The London Olympics

What is your favorite Olympic Sport?

  1. My favorite Olympic sport is probably wrestling. It is one of the least viewed of the sports but since I coach high school wrestling, it really interests me.

It was also one of the first sports and in the U.S. as most countries there is no professional league so it is mostly a sport with real, live amateurs competing.

    1. Soccer is my favorite sport, but I fear I am not going to be able to watch many games because of NBS's 3-network approach and yesterday's women's game was on one of those channels I don't get. I also had one of the networks "Universal Sports Network" the day before the Olympics started and know when I try to select it a screen comes up asking me to pay to subscribe.

I am also very interested in the track sprint events, wondering if anyone can beat Usain Bolt, and in Michael Phelps' quest for more gold. If he doesn't get them I'm also rooting for Ryan Lochte since he's a Florida Gator and I went to grad school there.

  2. I like swimming....I do hate the heartbreak of watching the Olympics. After finding out all about the athlete and their family, the sacrifices they have made, the passion behind it all, then to see them wipe out and break both their legs is horrible.

  3. I enjoy watching gymnastics. I find it so amazing that these athletes can be so dedicated and so disciplined (not to mention talented) at so young an age.
